All athletes, whether they’re part of FMTri or not, are welcome to participate in the

Aquathlon Estero Beach Ensenada 2025,

backed by the Baja California Triathlon Association, under the following guidelines:

Event data

Date: 6 of July, 2025
Location: Hotel Estero Beach Resort, Ensenada, Baja California
Modality : Individual and Relays.
Boot time: 8:00 am

Awards:
- Participation medal for the first 100 registered.
- Cash awards will be given to the top three finishers in the Elite category in both categories (this event requires a minimum of 100 participants to award cash prizes).
  - 1st place: $2,500 pesos
  - 2nd place: $1,500 pesos
  - 3rd place: $500 pesos
- Special Prizes for Master winners: Weekends at the Estero Beach Resort, breakfasts, and dinners will be raffled off to the top finishers in each Master category.

General Information

Every athlete must sign a waver before the race.
Capacity is limited to 150 participants.
Lifeguards will be present during the swimming segments, and a paramedic with an ambulance will be on-site for medical support.
This event does not currently have electronic timing.
All participants must have medical insurance. If you don´t have any insurance, you may be interested in this Day insurance register . No runner may participate without medical insurance.

Pre-Race Meeting and Marking

The pre-race meeting will take place at the finish area at 7:30 AM, where participants can also get their marking if they haven’t done so yet. The participant number must be marked on the right shoulder, and the category letter on the right calf.

Provisional Clauses

The announcement, course routes, and other points in this call are subject to change without prior notice. Safety is our priority. Any situation not specified herein will be resolved by the organizing committee.

Considerations for swimmers:

Swimmers can participate in any individual event and the relay.
No swimmer may participate without a signed liability waiver and medical insurance. The use of open water buoy is optional. Special edition #ensenadaenmar buoys will be sold on the day of the event for $500 pesos.
Any unsportsmanlike conduct will be penalized by the organizing committee.
Registration is non-refundable, but may be transferable.

The hotel restaurant serves good breakfasts and lunches!

Recognitions:

Swimmers who complete their event.
First 3 places in each event and division.
Teams with the highest number of entries for promoting open water in Baja California.
