• The use of an open water buoy during the event is mandatory. Special edition #ensenadaenmar buoys will be sold on the day of the event for $500 pesos.
• Every athlete must sign a waver before the race.
• Capacity is limited to 150 participants.
• Lifeguards and kayaks will be present during the swimming segments, and a paramedic with an ambulance will be on-site for medical support.
• This event does not currently have electronic timing.
• All participants must have medical insurance. If you don´t have any insurance, you may be interested in this Day insurance register . No runner may participate without medical insurance.
• Swimmers can participate in an individual event and the relay.
• Beginner swimmers can participate in the 500m with the current event or in the special category, where the use of fins, pull buoys or any other prop is permitted.

Pre-Race Meeting and Marking

• The pre-race meeting will take place at 9ox AM, where participants can also get their marking if they haven’t done so yet.

The announcement, course routes, and other points in this call are subject to change without prior notice. Safety is our priority. Any situation not specified herein will be resolved by the organizing committee.

The hotel restaurant serves good breakfasts and lunches!

Rules and reasons for disqualification:

• No swimmer may participate without an open water buoy, a signed liability waiver, and medical insurance.
• All swimmers must have their number marked on their arm. Although support will be provided for marking on the day of the event, it is preferable to arrive marked at the official office during the scheduled times for each event.
• Any unsportsmanlike conduct will be penalized by the organizing committee.
• Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Recognitions:

• Swimmers who complete their event.
• First 3 places in each event and division not using any props.
• Diplomas awarded to the teams with the highest number of entries for promoting open water in Baja California.

Temporary:

Any unforeseen points will be resolved by the organizing committee.
